Client: Wesley College Music Department
Storage Solution: Ezi-Store Rolled Upright storage
Problem: The school music department required an effective way of maximising their available space for storing their musical instruments. As the instruments come in all different shapes and sizes it would need an ingenious solution that would allow an effective and efficient way of retrieving the instruments without causing too much chaos.
Objective:
To organise every musical instrument into a workable storage facility, utilising the space provided in an economical manner.
Solution:
A static shelving layout was designed and manufactured to house each individual type of instrument allowing for easy retrieval and access.
Configuration:
- Ezi-Store Rolled Upright Type (RUT) shelving was used
- Adjustable shelves made it easy to adjust to the heights required
- The shelving was equipped with dividers to separate instruments and hold them upright
- The configuration is an open arrangement to allow for multiple access at the one time
- The instruments have been effectively organised and stored leaving additional space for an increase in the number of instruments later on.
